The event was attended by the mayor, M\u00aa Paz Fern\u00e1ndez, accompanied by several members of the Government team such as councilors Ricardo Calle, Concha Mu\u00f1oz, M\u00aa Carmen Mart\u00ednez and Jes\u00fas V\u00e1zquez, as well as representatives of the companies awarded the works, the ronde\u00f1as &#8216;Gicoser&#8217; and &#8216;Maramados&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech, Fern\u00e1ndez recalled that the project started in January 2012 when the City Council convened an ideas competition for the new bus station to which 83 proposals from studies by architects and designers from all over Spain were submitted, of which 12 passed to the final phase.
