The CL22 house is essentially an extremely simple response to the many initial conditions of the plot: on the one hand, a slope from east to west of more than one floor, on the other hand views to the west with the Bay of Santander as the protagonist, on the other hand a northwest orientation exposed to higher temperatures from the Galician winds and on the other hand to northeast winds that in the Santander summer make the good temperatures become uncomfortable.

The ground floor resolves this unevenness of the plot by orienting itself with a panoramic porch window, a 15-meter window to the Bay, to the sunsets and which also acts as a pedestal for the upper floor that contains the night program of rooms and this floor is presented with a clear sculptural character in which the brutalist aspect of dark granite from a nearby quarry prevails, seeking a contrast with the interior of wood and very fine and very careful cabinetry.

The materials on the ground floor are stones from the same quarry both inside and outside and in the pool.
